The primary objective of this program is to introduce students to primary sources. Students learn to distinguish between primary and secondary sources, learn to locate primary sources, how to use the Alabama Archives reference areas.

The "How to Research" program is an excellent way to familiarize your students with the Archives and other options for research for school projects. Most important, it enables students to acquire valuable research skills that can facilitate future academic success.
