Research Treasures
at the Department of Archives and History:
A Tips, Tools, and Treasures Workshop on September 13

If you are interested in Alabama’s past, the Alabama Department of Archives and History is full of research treasures – from official government records to private diaries, to rare books and pamphlets, to postcards, to church records. Join us at 10:00 on Saturday morning, September 13, as archivist Debbie Pendleton explores some of her favorite treasures at the Archives and shows you how to locate and use the materials to enhance your own research projects.

Tips, Tools, and Treasures is a workshop designed to introduce researchers to the vast array of research materials available at the ADAH, and to familiarize them with department services. Archives staff will present these programs the second Saturday of each month in 2008 from 10:00 - 11:00 A.M. The programs are free and do not require pre-registration.
