Essential Records Training Session - Only 30 spots available.
ADAH and the Council of State Archivists (CoSA) are offering a 2nd opportunity for Alabama state and local records officials, county EMA personnel, state or local IT staff, and other interested officials to take the on-line FEMA approved webinar - Essential Records. Essential Records are a component of the Continuity of Operations Plans created by state and local agencies.
The course will be offered on September 21, 23, 28, and 30 from 9:00 - 11:00 AM Central Time and will include participants from Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, and Tennessee. This is an online webinar format that involves accessing the course slide show on the internet at iLinc and listening to the audio via your telephone. This course will use a toll free number so there will be no telephone costs associated with these sessions for the attendees. Several staff members from an agency may participate using one internet and one phone connection, but each participant must register.
To register for the course, please go to rc.statearchivists.org. Each participant will need to create an account (this is free) by selecting the “Create Account” link located in upper right corner of the maroon bar at the top of the page. Once you have established your account, select the course titled “ESS-ZZ-0001: Essential Records Webinar [Southeast region: AL-GA-SC-TN]. Once you select the register button below the course description, you should receive an e-mail message confirming your registration.
